New business development manager appointed.

@sipp, the self-invested pension provider, has today outlined its plans for growing the business in the South West of England, with the appointment of Lisa-Marie Finch to the position of business development manager.

Lisa, formerly SIPP business development manager at pension consultancy  firm Barnett Waddingham, will begin her new role in July. Reporting to sales director, Colin Barral, Lisa will be responsible for driving sales growth in the South West of England and London. As part of her role, Lisa will also implement a series of technical seminars for advisers in her area, while developing strategic partnerships.

Eddie McGuire, Managing Director at @sipp, said:

Our business has enjoyed significant growth in our traditional markets of Scotland and the North of England. We are confident this growth will continue and now wish to replicate this success in other parts of the UK.

Lisa joins our team at an exciting time as we seek to develop our proposition. She will be pivotal in helping us grow and expand the business. She brings a wealth of experience and understanding of the SIPP market and will be a great asset to @sipp.”

Prior to joining at @sipp, Lisa spent six years with Barnett Waddingham, initially appointed as SIPP Client Manager managing an extensive client portfolio. As a member of the business’ technical committee, she was also responsible for creating and maintaining adviser relationships and professional services firms.

Commenting on her new role Lisa said:

“@sipp is at a key point in its strategic development. There is a tremendous opportunity for firms like @sipp in the South West of England as many market players begin to shy away from the full SIPP sector. As the market continues to evolve I believe advisers will increasingly look towards companies like @sipp, to support their clients. I look forward to bringing both my experience of the market and knowledge of the area to the business and helping it grow.”
