SIPPS explained
Put simply, a SIPP is a pension that allows you to take control over how you plan for your retirement. It’s all about potential – and we’re here to unlock it for you.
A Self-Invested Personal Pension is a registered pension plan that gives you a flexible and tax-efficient method of preparing for your retirement. It gives you all sorts of options on how you put money in, how you invest it and how it’s paid out.
Both you and your employer can make contributions to your SIPP – these can be on a one-off and/or regular basis. You can also decide to transfer your existing pension into it. You can even put commercial property into your SIPP. From there, you (or your investment adviser) can take control of what you do with your fund. And, when it comes to your retirement, you can take the benefits in a way that suits you – and helps reduce your tax liability.
